What’s Included?

All restaurants included in package will have a $30.00 per person fee for no show reservations.

All activities included in package will have a $35.00 per person fee for no show reservations.

Not included are restaurants Kibi-Kibi and Xaak. Reservations are required and it is $175 per person.

Do I need a passport for travel to Mexico?

Yes, and the US State Department requires your passport to have a minimum of 6 months validity from your return date of entry. Please visit www.travel.state.gov if you need to renew or obtain a passport. We recommend that you print (2) copies of your passport, keeping one copy with you at all times.

Is airport ground transportation provided?

Yes, please send your flight itinerary to Tina Oliver to ensure reservations upon your arrival into Cancun.

What are the daily attire requirements?

Resort casual attire is recommended for all Torchy’s Tacos events with the exception of the Celebration Dinner. For Wednesday night’s Celebration Dinner we encourage cocktail attire. If doing an excursion or off property activity, please see activity descriptions for required activity attire. Visit the resorts website for restaurant and public attire guidelines.

What is the currency of Mexico and how does it convert to US Dollars?

Mexico’s national currency is the Mexican Peso. Currently, one US dollar, $1.00 is equal to $17.35 Pesos.

What time can I check-in?

Check-in is at 3:00 pm. Every effort will be made to accommodate you when you arrive at the resort. Luggage storage will be available at the bell stand if you are not able to check-in to your room.

What time is check-out?

Check-out is 12:00 noon and late check-out requests are not guaranteed. For your convenience, you’re welcome to store your luggage at the bell stand and utilize the fitness center facilities to freshen up prior to your scheduled departure.

Is Hotel Xcaret Playa Del Carmen an all-Inclusive property? How does this work and what’s included?

Hotel Xcaret is an all-inclusive property, which means food & beverage is included in your guest room rate. You will however be asked to sign each meal check which will show pricing, this amount will be routed to the group master account and not to your guest room. Simply sign the check, which includes gratuity. Any additional gratuities will be routed to your guest room incidental folio and will be your financial responsibility.

What’s needed at check-in?

– A major credit card (AMEX, Visa, MasterCard are accepted by the resort)

What’s needed at check-out?

– A major credit card for payment (AMEX, Visa, MasterCard are accepted by the resort)

– The hotel will keep a separate record of your incidental charges. At check-out, be prepared to settle your account with the front desk. We highly encourage you to stop by the front desk the prior to your departure to review your incidental account. Please bring any discrepancies to the attention of Tina Oliver at that time.

Do the resort and local shops accept US dollars?

Yes, both the resort and most local purveyors accept US dollars. However, it’s likely that your change will be in Mexican pesos. 

Do we give gratuities?

Gratuities are included but if you feel that you have received excellent service feel free to leave something extra.

Does the resort have an ATM machine?

Yes, the ATM dispenses both US dollars and Mexican pesos. 

What is the location and hours of the Hospitality Desk?

We will be located in the Group Lobby from 7am-6pm each day.
